A cosa serve?

Informed consent ensures that each person can freely and consciously choose whether to undertake psychological therapy, after receiving clear information about the purpose, methods of treatment, and the limits of confidentiality. It therefore serves to protect the individual, make the relationship with the professional more transparent, and base the process on clarity, trust, and self-determination.

Cosa deve contenere il consenso informato

The informed consent form must explain in a simple and transparent manner what the psychological service entails, its objectives, how it will be conducted, the limits of confidentiality, and, where possible, the expected duration of the process. Furthermore, it is important that the individual also receives essential information on the processing of personal data, including the purposes of the processing and the rights of the data subject.
